About Jeff on AWS

I'm Jeff Fudge, and I'm the creative force behind Jeff on AWS.  My passion for the cloud began about ten years ago when I started my first CIO position.  I had previously been responsible for on-prem and colocated environments, and realized the value that leveraging the cloud would bring to the business.  As a CIO, I needed digital transformation to happen quickly and with minimal capital expenditures.  And I've been a big cloud advocate ever since.

By day, I'm a Cloud Practice Director for a systems integrator overseeing our on-prem, hybrid cloud, and public cloud solutions.  When I'm not working, I'm an AWS Community Builder, and I have founded and run three AWS user groups (Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville in Florida).
